A recreational inquiry to BMBP volunteers and supporters

Dear Friends,

Please contact us if you have recreated in the Camp Creek or Lick Creek areas of the Malheur National Forest, such as the Lower Camp Creek Campground or other nearby locations. Please see the maps below to view the specific areas we are inquiring about.

We would be interested to know if you have done any form of recreation in that area, including hiking; fishing; hunting; bird-watching; camping; recreational driving; ATVing; snowmobiling; wildlife photography; wild plant gathering; etc.  Please give us a call or email us if you have been in that area for recreational or naturalist purposes.

We alert supporters of the need for comments on timber sales, livestock allotments, and other projects. When you comment it really does make a difference on the outcome. Even short comments can help stop or alter a sale. We also send out our biannual work reports and other updates.

We also accept donations of equipment, field gear, office supplies, and other items. We are particularly in need of: GPS units, laptops, digital cameras, dbh tape measures, compasses that can also measure slope, non-perishable food, and other similar items.
